Never met Shannon until we were looking for a house in Arkansas. We changed directions several times in the process. Shannon went with the flow never batting an eye. We decided in July of ‘23 we were going to move. I had 5 realtors on my friend list. How do you choose one friend realtor and not hurt another ones feelings? You can’t. (I have to add here-all the realtors in my friends list are incredible people with fantastic work ethic).
I interviewed 7 realtors I didn’t know a single one of them! I didn’t interview anyone that was recommended. I’m stubborn like that.
After 7 interviews I was ready to list. I found a young lady that we decided upon. Knowing that Nick worked over the road all week long gone-This young lady came to my house and helped me prepare to list. (interjecting again-I liked my house a lot better after preparing for listing).

The entire time I was searching i was looking for a three bedroom, three bathroom, just on the outskirts of town with an open floor plan - a small front deck-a screened in porch-a barn-and a few acres. I was looking for a small town with traffic that wasnt terrifying-I was looking for incredible neighbors that property attached to ours…. and chickens and the sound of a donkey playing outside. I wanted to sit on the screened in porch and watch the deer gather in the evening.
I was looking for home, when i was already here.

A note to potential buyers and sellers in the Bull shoals/Lakeview Arkansas real estate market.
My wife and I purchased a home in Bull Shoals/Lakeview. We found the area to be quiet, peaceful, full of friendly people and living up to the Arkansas motto, a natural place. The river and lake with a state park at the edge of town one never finds themselves at a loss for something to do. There are plenty of services available right in town that you might not expect in a small community. A small but adequately stocked grocery, several very nice restaurants, a local pharmacy, gas station, a couple of great marinas and we felt a superb real estate office.
When we decided to get serious about buying here, we utilized the available web browsers. I found the Beaman site to be accurate and usually having the largest inventory. I called the office and spoke with Gary Stubenfoll. We discussed what we were interested in and explained we still had some questions about the area. When we met at the office for our showings, we met Danette Stubenfoll who showed us the properties, answered questions we had and helped us to find the home that we would wind up purchasing. Danette and Gary have lived in the area for quite some time and have a deep understanding of the local market. Danette helped us by asking very good questions about what we liked and what we thought would make us happy. Danette got to know her clients and treated us with the utmost of respect. We found the staff we met at Beaman all to be personable, friendly and knowledgeable.
In addition to great office etiquette and professionalism Gary and Danette are willing to go the extra mile. Our home was purchased from out of state owners. During a very thorough home inspection a few minor repairs were found in need. The owners were not available, so Gary and Danette insured all repairs were completed by the time of closing and to a high level of standard. Danette treated the home just like it was hers and even had the bathroom ceiling repainted to ensure it all looked good as new. We moved into our new home and started to enjoy our new life in Bull Shoals.
A few months later during the holidays we found ourselves out of town and had some concerns relating to a cold snap and whether we had prepared the house for freezing temperatures. We called Danette and asked her if she would mind stopping by the house and checking on things for us. Danette helped us out, and while in the house noticed that the hot water heater drain valve had started leaking and made quite the puddle on the garage floor. Gary was called and together a quick repair was put in place that was held over until a plumber that they suggested could come over and fix the problem. This was no small task and considerable clean up was needed. I can’t thank the two of them enough for the help, which was way above any expectations we would have had. They literally saved us thousands in potential repairs if the water had continued to leak. When I thanked them, it was shrugged off, I was told it was the right thing to do and they were glad to help, it was no big deal. WOW!
